Modifying Fills and Strokes, Using Gradients and Modifying Them

Pages 39, 74-75, 122-125

Stroke and Fill

1. Select the ink bottle tool on the tools panel (or just press S)

2. To modify the stroke go to the properties window and set your desired stroke size, color, etc.

3. Position the ink pointer over the shape, click, and it should add the stroke

- In order to change the fill of an object select the paint can. To change the stroke, select the pencil.

Gradient

1. Open color-mixer underneath “windows”

2. Choose linear (or whatever type of gradient you want)

3. Use the gradient tool to decide which way the gradient will go.

- To change the gradient colors double-click on the pointers and then chose the color

- To add colors simply click anywhere on the gradient-definition bar

- To remove colors from the gradient-definition bar click on the color pointer (make sure you don’t see the plus sign) and drag it down off the bar.
